Book Giveaway

Back into the pile of books.
This week I'm giving away The Last Queen by C.W. Gortner.
Book is about the life of Juana, the third child of Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand of Spain and sister of Catherine of Aragon (Henry VIII's 1st wife).

Juana was either a woman made crazy by grief and the bull shit she put up with from her father, husband AND son OR a powerful woman who did not do what the men in her life wanted and was painted as mad to take what was rightfully hers.
It is a very compelling, but tragic story and the book is the same.
Even though you know what her fate is you are compelled to read on.

So leave me a note in the comments and I'll pull a name out of the magic hat next week.

Ah, yes, I remember from my big fat book on the Habsburgs - the first "adult" book I read as a kid. She certainly wasn't very lucky in her life...

I have to admit I don't know much about Juana. This book could certainly help that ;-) and it sounds like a good read too!
